My wife and I came up with a full translation for real estate agents.

Cozy = small.
Handy-man’s dream = dilapidated.
Charming = haunted.
Character = old and busted.
Picturesque = only from the outside.
Elegant = you can’t afford it.
Bustling part of town = the hood.

Quaint = has no water or hydro
