This has to be one of my favorite pastimes- watching the Scifi channel for the So-Bad-Its-Good movies and making fun of them. Sometimes I feel bad for mocking something someone put a lot of work into, but I get over that pretty quickly once the movie gets going.

May I recommend Ghouls as a very entertaining So-Bad-Its-Good flick? Definitely not a hidden gem movie, though. If you do see it, make a mental note of the box under her bed.

  • I prefer terrible action movies over sci-fi and horror, actually. But yes, +3 wins to this comic!

    Welcome to Nilbog
    Don’t drink the milk

    • Near the end, when that dude crawls out of the inexplicable pile of seduction popcorn, coughs and says something to the effect of “no more popcorn” — I said aloud that I really hoped that was the last we ever saw of him.

      AND IT WAS. BEST MOVIE

Check out 80s martial arts, straight to video movies for some SBIGness.
    I suggest “Gymkata”

Wow, if someone were to watch a bad movie once a week and then review it… like on a website or something… that would be very cool. Then i could find out all the SBIG movies and hidden gems, and not have to sit through movies like Manos: The Hands of Fate. I’m surprised that nobody has done this yet.

Manos: The Hands of Fate can be SBIG if you have the right person making jokes. If not, well, my sympathies are with you.

    • That movie is just barely watchable even with the right people (naturally, MST3K). I often use it as a point of Horrible Movie reference in conversation, when people say things like “Man, Elektra was the worst movie ever.” To which I reply “Was it shot in focus most of the time?” and they say “Yeah, I guess so” and then I say “Then there’s definitely worse.”
