  1. *sarcastic* Well THANKS Nathan!

You know, I could’ve used this information last week, before I made a fool of myself on national television.

  2. Hey, I completely forgot to respond to this. And you might not even see it anymore. But anyway; the name is sort of a weird reference to the the oft-quoted saying / curse “May you live in interesting times,” which may or may not be Chinese in origin. The curse part of it being that ‘interesting’ times are turbulent, i.e. not normal, calm times.

Not that I live in any particular degree of chaos, but the saying’s been in my head for years and I liked the sound of it for a comic title. Also, “interesting” is usually the word that people use when they can’t think of anything more fitting, or don’t want to say what they’re really thinking of. So, there’s that.

Anyway, I hope that answers your question.

  3. marked as “personal favourite” because
the expressions came off pretty well perfectly, especially the dude in the last panel who’s all “whooooooa.” I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull this one off when I started it, and I’m very glad to see that I did.
