You’ve probably noticed — having of course read every single comic up to this point, right? >:|  — that when it comes to making up brands, advertisements or store names I tend to make them sound vaguely hostile. Using ALL CAPS certainly helps get this across. I’m not sure what it is about the idea that appeals to me, but I suppose I find it funny to imagine that they would just Give Up Being Nice about getting you to buy  a dog or peas or whatever. They’re thinking listen, we can beat around the bush all day but we both know you are just going to buy a dang dog eventually. Let’s get this thing done. [Sept. 4, 2012]
