I think using the phrase, “I wordened (insert book name here)” might pose a more awkward situation than just admitting I listened to the book. Seriously, I’d like to see you try to slip that into conversation with getting strange looks from the other guy.
I usually say that I “read” an audiobook. However, hence forth I shall worden audiobooks. THANK YOU PROFESSOR ENGLISH!
Have you considered what to do with it when in the past perfect progressive tense?
