More of these comics than you realize OR that I’ll admit are actually quite honest. I just cloak it in a veil of humour, like so many. To remove the cloak would, I think, largely go against the general tone of things around here and be quite jarring. (Not that I’m against doing it on rare occasions anyway). Also, sometimes “being honest” just means that I want to rant about certain people in particular and there’s always the danger that they’ll read it afterward and be upset.
Anyway that’s why Honesty Week will probably never happen. [September 4, 2013]
I like the wackiness and comic exaggeration, but if you change it up for only a week it wouldn’t be a big deal.
So that’s how you draw a terrible idea. Huh.
You have to exaggerate. Your comics aren’t exaggerations anyways, so much as caricatures.. which rely on exaggerations to bring the point home I guess. So good, either way.
Also, the drawing of a bat as a bad idea… I don’t know about this. Seems like you could be alienating an entire audience type by suggesting a bad idea is liken to a vampirish symbol…. depends though. Does this bad idea keep a diary? Did it grow up mormon? I will ponder these things and the meaning of the comic in the days to come.
You just updated this TODAY?!! Coincidence I happened to read it just now?
