I love old cop shows like Hunter. Inevitably a car chase would happen and someone would be crossing the street with a bag of groseries that would get tossed on to the hood of the oncoming car as the pedestrian jumped out of the way.
Oh, totally. The “bag of groceries demolished” gag is a staple of the car-chase. That, and workers moving extremely large sheets of glass across the street for some reason.
