Mysterious Sock Loss Syndrome (MSLS) has led me to only purchase socks of the same type, and subsequently leave them unfolded in my sock drawer (seriously, why do people fold socks? You put them on one at a time, anyway), that way, I never notice their absence until I’m all out of socks.
After all, ignoring the problem is the same as not having one, right?
