Panel 1 — in the voice of Comic Book Guy
Panel 2 — the reason that soooo many lids are found on the street
Panel 3 — EXACTLY!! The largest coffee chain in the country…do ya THINK they could swing the ENORMOUS cost of cup sleeves? These they could make RECYCLEABLE, unlike their coffee cups which, sadly, are not
Two handy solutions for the terrible tab
1. Tear it back just a tiny bit more before folding it over (it’ll stay down I promise)
2. Tear it back then fold it down into the cup turning it into a wave guard
Tim’s makes me sick, that’s enough for me to switch, but Mc D’s cups are lined so the sleeve is built in, the lid stays open 99% of the time, and they come with a muffin. All for about 18 cents more. I find the coffee to taste better too, but that’s just me. In a previous week you mentioned the long lines at Tim’s, which are also shorter at the golden arches.
Cya Fri Nathan……don’t forget….. as if you could. 😉
These are better than Robin’s lids!

Oh that’s right, they aren’t even recyclable either! Sheesh.
